How much in commissions can I earn?
Commissions start at 3% for the consumed commissionable bookings that you generate. The more consumed
commissionable bookings you generate, the more you can earn by qualifying for an increased commission.
Better yet, you will receive commissions on the total net sales on all the room nights consumed (some
limitations apply -- see below) which are commissionable. That's a powerful incentive to get started today.
What is a consumed booking?
A reservation resulting in a paid stay (excluding guaranteed no-show bookings).
How often do I get paid?
We pay commissions monthly with no monthly minimum payment requirement.
How do I get started?
It's simple. First, you must read and accept the Hilton Hotels Corporation Internet Distribution Program
Agreement. Then, you complete our online application form and fax a W-9 form to 212-213-2716. After your application is
submitted, we will contact you to let you know if you've been accepted into the program.
Once accepted, we provide you with the banners, graphics and links you need to feature our hotels on your
site. Any clicks on those links that result in a qualified consumed booking will earn you a commission. We
handle all the hotel bookings, customer service and billing.
The only thing you are responsible for is using the tag generator to create and place links on your site.
We have an automatic tag generator that creates HTML that you cut and paste into your web site. It is so
easy to use even beginners can create links in seconds. The tag generator allows you to create hundreds
of types of links to our hotels.
We handle everything else. If you need assistance setting up the links, we're available to help by
emailing internet_distribution@hilton.com.
How do I monitor my performance?
We give you access to online reporting through our reporting site. With reports available to
you at any time, you can assess your performance so that you can optimize your links and increase your earnings.
Is it free to join?
Yes! It's absolutely free to join. There is no charge to apply and there is no minimum sales requirement.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Just send an e-mail to internet_distribution@hilton.com. When
you cancel, you will also need to remove all Hilton Hotel links and images from your Web site.
What Web sites are prohibited from joining the Hilton Hotels Corporation program?
We will not accept Web sites with objectionable content, including but not limited to pornography (sexual
content, explicit language or content), violence, hate-oriented, illegal, defamatory, or obscene content.
Please refer to the Hilton Hotels Corporation Internet Distribution Program Agreement for more details.
Can I apply if my Web site is not live yet?
No. You will need to submit your application once your Web site is live so we can review the content.
Are Hilton Hotels Corporation employees eligible to join?
No. Employees or Contractors of Hilton Hotels Corporation
and their immediate family members (spouse, parents,
children, siblings), and/or those persons (whether related
or not) living in the same household of each are strictly
prohibited from participating in the HiltonFamily.com
Internet Distribution Program.
Where should I put links?
Some areas you may want to place your links include your home page, your navigation bar, and any other high
traffic areas. If you place the links in an easily accessible location on your site, your visitors will be
more likely to reserve, stay and pay in one of our brands' hotel rooms.
You should update links to our products frequently. We are constantly adding new promotions and hotels, so
you should create new links that fit the interests of your visitors.
How are cancellations handled?
If a user cancels their reservation, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card
fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction.
Which room transactions are commissionable?
This progam applies to stays booked within the United States or Canada at participating Hilton Family brand hotels. In some instances, commissions will not be paid on rooms offered as special or discounted rates/promotions. For example, most negotiated rates, corporate rates, Hilton Plus rates, discount rates, Net Direct rates, package rates, government rates and travel industry rates are usually non-commissionable. In addition, length of stay caps and non-member status may affect which room transactions are commissionable and what commission shall be payable. Commissions may not be paid for properties not participating in Hilton's Distribution Services program. Commission inquiries must be submitted within 6 months of guest checkout. Hilton reserves the right to not pay commissions to an affiliate if in Hilton's judgment the affiliate does not engage in sound ethical, business and legal practices in the operation of its business. This includes but is not limited to affiliates based in a country where the United States government has sanctions in-place or affiliates specifically identified as sanctioned by the United States government. Further, bookings at non-participating hotels outside the continental United States or Canada may or may not be commissionable. For a reservation made at a commissionable rate which is then changed by the guest to another commissionable rate, commission will be payable on the amended reservation/rate.
Consumed bookings and commissions listed on the Hilton Distribution Services reporting site are not considered final until Hilton Hotels Corporation has verified transactions for each month and notified affiliate of commissions due via email. Verification will take place within 30 days of the end of the month for which commissions are to be paid. Payment term updates will be set forth from time to time in newsletters and on this site.
Payment term updates will be set for from time to time in newsletters and on this site.
What about return days?
The Hilton Distribution program allows affiliates to earn commissions on bookings referred from your site within a 3-day referral period.
Am I permitted to do paid placement search engine optimization?
As a condition of participating, you must agree to observe Hilton Hotels Corporation's exclusive rights
as to the names of its properties, including but not limited to Hilton Hotels Corporation, Hilton Hotels,
Hilton.com, and Hilton within all pay-for-placement and other search engines. Additionally, you may
